FOR PLAY is now booking for breeding US mares in 2010. He is approved lifetime with AHS & VhW, SWANA, Oldenburg GOV, ISR* and approved to breed KWPN with Dutch mares. The 2010 stud fee is $1700.00 with a $300 booking fee for fresh semen. Frozen semen available during show schedule that will be posted spring of 2010. Book early for fresh cooled semen! We do offer multiple mare discounts, elite mare discounts and other incentive programs.

FOR PLAY is nominated to the International Jumper Futurity, International Hunter Futurity, selected for the AHS Jumper breeding program (JBP), and is a participant in the 2009 AHS, GOV and ISR Stallion Service Auction.

FOR PLAY has had 100% conception rate on all breedings to US mares for ’08 and ’09! We settled all the mares with fresh cooled and frozen and had successful embryo transfers. We settled all but one of our mares on the first shipment and we found out she had an infection that was taken care of and she conceived on the 2nd shipment!

PEDIGREE:

For Pleasure finished his career with staggering lifetime earnings of Euro 1.8 million. For Pleasure has contributed to four championship victories over the last eight years of his career with the German Showjumping team, and four times has won team gold. At the 1996 Games with Lars Nieberg, at the 2000 Games with Marcus Ehning and at two European Championships – Hickstead and Donaueschingen. At Donaueschingen, he carried Marcus Ehning to his first individual medal – a bronze. With both riders, he won 75 S-level classes, winning his last Grand Prix at the age of eighteen – at the Liepzig round of the World Cup, where he won the class over a massive course (“the highest track I have ever jumped with him indoors” said rider, Marcus Ehning) to beat Frenchman, Jean Marc Nicolas and Modesto. In For Pleasure’s stallion test he starred in the jumping where he had the top mark of 145.95. He is sire of many sires and has very successful offspring.

For Play’s Dam Line is the famous Accord II, 100 Day Test champion, and contains no close Cor de la Bryere or Landgraf blood. He received a “9″ on type and “8′s” on both front and hind legs; a score seldom seen. He also scored 9.5 to 10 for showjumping, and 9 to 9.67 for rideability. His overall score was 146.04 scoring 138.26 in dressage and 148.47 in jumping. Acord II has produced more than 40 stallion sons, one of the more famous is Broere VDL Atlantic, who was the Six Year Old Jumping Champion at the 1999 Bundeschampionate with Ulrich Kirchhoff. As of 2003, Acord II produced 60 dressage competitors and 404 jumpers (52 to advanced level) for winnings of 736,475 euros. Acord II’s entry in the Hanoverian Studbook includes the comment: “His first foals are impressive with a strong, correct conformation and above average floating movements.” Accord II is widely regarded as an important contributor in Europe. He was the leading sire for mares bred in Germany after winning many important shows.

Fire Fly by FOR PLAY

We are so excited about this young pony stallion by For Play that we are actually giving him his own Stallion page before he is even weaned! At his inspection judges were amazed at his harmonious build and athletic and effortless movement. It will be a few years before he is available for breeding and we are counting the days……cannot wait! Chongo Wongo

Now Licensed with Oldenburg ISR with HUGE scores! Chongo received an 8.5 in Jumping style and technique and 8.5 in aptitude and balance! His overall points were 222.5 at 3 years old for the stallion inspection.

Chongo Wongo is owned and bred by Dacia and Mario Imperato. This 06′ Holsteiner Colt was premium at his inspections and has so much potential in Show Jumping. He is very kind and sweet with a ton of presence. as a Weanling the judge noted “This foal is designed for international show jumping, If Americans can continue to breed horses as nice as this one Americans won’t need to import their horses anymore!”
